Our Services
Providing Everything You Need

Pipework
We offer comprehensive design and construction services for all types of pipework, including substrate, gas, and heating lines. Our coded fabricators ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and precision. We have expertise in working with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium.

We can modify existing pipework to meet your requirements, such as adding valves, drain-off points, or rerouting lines. Additionally, we can design and construct complete pipe systems from scratch, including pipe bridges and stanchions, while integrating essential equipment like gas boosters, carbon vessels, and condensate lines.
Confined Space and BA Work
All our engineers are trained in high-risk confined space operations and equipped to work safely in any environment. We prioritise safety and ensure a comprehensive rescue plan is always in place. Our team has extensive experience working on storage vessels, feeding hoppers, digesters, and condensate pits.

With CompEX EX11 certification, we possess the expertise to safely operate on gas systems and within ATEX zones. Our commitment to high standards of health, safety, and technical proficiency enables us to perform complex tasks, including the removal of pressure relief valves (PRVs) and the replacement of sensors, even on live gas systems.

Custom Fabrication
With a comprehensive engineering background, there are few challenges we cannot design and construct. We specialize in building replacement parts for feeding systems, plant machinery, access systems, and more. Additionally, we manufacture handrails, guarding, and fall arrest systems that comply with PUWER regulations. All our systems are supported by engineering calculations, ensuring that the equipment is safe and meets your specific requirements. We have also assisted with site upgrades, such as enhancing the design of feeding systems to make them more robust, which improves system longevity and reduces downtime.
De-gritting and Mixer Replacement
A common challenge that arises on all AD sites every 4-7 years is the degritting of digesters. This is a substantial task, particularly when aiming for efficiency and safety. To address this, we have developed our own custom grab system for degritting digesters, and we possess the necessary equipment and expertise to ensure the job is completed swiftly and smoothly. Additionally, we can assist with the replacement of mixers and provide support for any remedial work required.

Plant Repairs
Maintaining and repairing plant equipment is essential for ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. Regular maintenance prevents unexpected failures, minimizes downtime, and extends equipment lifespan. Proper repairs address wear and damage, reducing operational risks and costly disruptions. Well-maintained equipment also ensures compliance with regulations and optimizes overall plant performance and productivity. We can offer from one off repairs all the way to service level agreements to make sure you plant is kept in top condition.
P&ID and Asset Tagging
Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and asset tagging are critical for the efficient design, operation, and maintenance of anaerobic digestion plants. P&IDs provide a detailed schematic of process flow, including equipment, pipelines, valves, and control systems, ensuring clear communication among engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.

Asset tagging assigns unique identifiers to plant components, enabling accurate tracking, troubleshooting, and documentation.

We are able to modify, remake and build from scratch P&IDs as well and document and assign asset tags.

Activated Carbon Replacement
Activated carbon is used for a range of different roles through out AD sites, but always has the main purpose of polishing and removed unwanted chemical compounds. It is critical to make sure that the active carbon is working optimally so that critical equipment down the line is not damaged.
We can offer our services in purchasing carbon and carrying out the removal, disposal and refilling of active carbon.
Maintenance and Installation of EX Equipment

Permitting and EA Consulting
Following your permit at an anaerobic digestion site is crucial to ensure environmental protection, operational safety, and regulatory compliance. Adhering to these guidelines helps prevent fines, legal issues, and potential shutdowns, while also promoting community trust and sustainable operations.

We are able to assist your plant with the necessary guidance and information to make sure you keep running smoothly. Below are some of what we can offer.
-
Permit compliance
-
Permit changes
-
Permit gap analysis
-
New plant permit guidance
-
Site reporting
-
Assistance with EA correspondence
WAMITAB Training and TCM Cover
We are able to carry out WAMITAB training and help you achieve the CIWM (WAMITAB) Competence qualification. With over 20 year knowledge of the industry, we are able to make sure that the training will not only get you your qualification, but expand your knowledge and assist you in being able to make sure your waste site is compliant.

We are also able to assist with TCM cover. Permitted waste management sites, such as anaerobic digestion sites and waste transfer stations, have a legal obligation to have a Technically Competent Manager (TCM) on-site for at least 20% of their operating hours.
We cover the whole of the UK and provide daily reports, as well as being on-hand to answer any questions you have about waste operations on your premises. We also are able to make sure you are operating within your permit and assist with improvement measures and EA communications.

LOLER Inspection
LOLER Inspections and Reports are important to make sure you are working with in the guidance of the regulations as well as keeping your workers safe.

We are able to attend site and carry out the inspections and create the report for the following equipment.
